מסביב לעולם, בדרך של פעםAround the world, the traditional way
סירה אחת, שייט אחד והרבה ים. זה המסע שדני ואקסודוס יצאו אליו.One boat, one sailor and an ocean ahead. This is the voyage Daniel and Exodus have set out on.
ב־6 בספטמבר יצא דני עם אקסודוס מלה סאבל־ד׳אולון שבצרפת. מכאן הדרך ממשיכה סביב העולם, דרך האוקיינוסים והכפים הגדולים, עד החזרה לאותו נמל.On 6 September, Daniel and Exodus left Les Sables-d’Olonne in France. The route takes them across oceans and around the great capes, all the way back to the same harbour.
ב־Golden Globe Race מפליגים לבד, ללא עצירות וללא סיוע חיצוני, לפי כללי המרוץ. אין צוות שמחליף אותך במשמרת: צריך להפליג, לתקן, להכין אוכל ולמצוא גם זמן לישון. זו שגרת החיים על סירה, במשך חודשים בים.The Golden Globe Race is sailed solo, non-stop and without outside assistance, under the race rules. There is no crew to take the next watch: sailing, repairs, cooking and finding time to sleep all fall to one person, for months at sea.

The required safety and communication equipment is carried alongside them. Ashore, we have a tracking map to follow; aboard Exodus, Daniel has to find his own way.
